MicroFractured Sunkernel Flour is obtained through the MicroFracture process of turning the Sunflower kernel into a free flowing flour. The MicroFracture process is not exposed to any solvents, heat, or excessive pressures that can leave contaminant resides and damage fragile fatty acid structures and is mostly used for food and beverage applications.
Our Sunkernel Flour provides a totally unique free flowing flour produced by a proprietary particle reduction method called the MicroFracture process. This unique process enables the seed to be finely fractured into several parts, with no loss in yield or nutrients. The flour is free flowing for easy handling and consumption. Many of the benefits of Sunkernel Flour are derived from the mineral rich pristine, whole and stable properties of the Sunflower Kernel along with its high oil content and high antioxidant value. Our flour allows certain nutrients to be activated that not only increase the bio-availability but also retards rancidity, preserving the stable integrity of the oils.
Packaged in 25kg polypropylene bags with a shelf life of 12 months.
